The SAILOR Program (Starting an Adventure in International Learning and Outstanding Research) is an initiative by UniMAX that aims to foster a scientific culture and internationalization in higher education. After two editions aimed at undergraduate students from UniFAJ and UniMAX, the program demonstrated significant results in developing research skills, critical thinking, and scientific communication.
The establishment of SAILOR High School represents the natural expansion of this initiative into secondary education, aiming to foster an interest in science and identify potential talents. The course will be an eight-day immersion (both in-person and online), featuring practical activities, workshops, and scientific guidance, tailored to the participants' age group and educational background.
An initiative that connects high school education with the university experience, incorporating science, mentorship, and youth empowerment.
